Large size compressors are a utility service item in any major industry.
Like pumps they consume a lot of electrical energy. Further if
compressors are linked to production activity then the compressors run
continuously and consumption is substantial.
In simple language any compressor will deliver the desired pressure say
7Kg/Cm2 –BUT AT WHAT COST? How long does it take to reach the design
pressure of 7Kg/Cm2? What is the quantity of air (i.e. volume) it is
really delivering? What is the capacity at which the compressor running?

of lack of volume.

energy saving from outside i.e. on drive end, on belts, on vibration, on

In any valve air/gas passes through the valve port
(body) through the plates and out through the guard all at right angle,
Thus eddies are formed at the corners, which are termed as universal
Air/Gas loss.
Hoerbiger philosophy has always been to minimise this
loss for effective working of a PV cycle. Hence the critical angle
called passage port and the geometry of the parts are so precise each
Hoerbiger valve function as per design parameters to be energy
efficient.

Recently in 1999 Hoerbiger has invented the “HYDROCOM”
system. Most of the high capacity compressors say 4MW, 5MW which work on
partial load, pump back the excess gas into the suction line again, This
is an alarming case of “waste of energy” because, when the plant load
falls you can regulate only at 50-75-100%.
There is no system for precise load regulation say
37%-67%-84% etc. Imagine the saving in power if the compressor could
perform precisely to the requirement and this is the precise function of
